I have an established GR account with numerous computers and projects. I recently rebuilt a computer and named the new one the same as the one it replaced. I have installed GR software and attached the computer to my account, which succeeds. However no tasks are downloading.
I Synchronize with Grid Republic again which needed me to input my username and password and it again tells me that I have successfully attached to this account manager. Still, no tasks.
I check Messages and find "[error] Inconsistent signing key from account manager"
Many thanks. I did what you suggested and cleared cookies from my browser for luck. I now see that the computer in question is updating its stats. No need to take this further. - Michael...
I am running Winfows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit and the installation file downloaded fromhttp://download1.gridrepublic.orgthrows an errir after I click Run on the Open File - Security Warning dialog box. It is C:\Users\Downloads\GridRepublic Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I have installed BOINC on a new PC and registered it with my GridRepublic account but the new computer is not appearing in GridRepublic web site. What can I do to have it appear? Many thanks - Michael...
Some tasks I receive take too much time for me to complete them by the reporting date based upon the number of other project tasks I am running. For example, Einstein sent me a project that will require about 20 hours on my machine. No way that will complete. But Einstein also sends me tasks that will take perhaps five hours that I do want to run. Rather than manually aborting projects I would like to set a filter based upon time to completion on the particular computer and reject those that take too much time. Is this possible? How about a new feature?
Kind regards,
Michael
