Progress thru Processors

I installed PTP thru Facebook but then just awhile ago after I turned on my computer, it told me to sign in using a gridrepublic account. I just realized that I didn't have one so I signed up instead and the site has shown me different projects to include so I selected some then afterwards it says that I should download and install GridRepublic so I did. My question is, what happened to the PTP software I downloaded from facebook after installing GridRepublic? Did it automatically uninstall and export my settings and existing projects to GridRepublic?

I think I get it now. Now I have 2 accounts. So if it was linked to my facebook account already, why did it ask me to sign in with a gridrepublic account and when I did, using the e-mail address I use on fb, it told me that the e-mail is not recognized? it's too confusing.. I mean why does it have to be Progress thru processors and gridrepublic? why not just gridrepublic? now I'm confused which account is on. I mean I like the PTP coz I can see my progress on facebook but gridrepublic offers more projects.
