boinc crashes on my new imac using osx mavericks [soon to be yosemite,] while it worked perfectly for several years on a 2006 imac running osx Lion.
I've emailed many times over the last few weeks, and NO ANSWER!!
I understand that the ebola task is to be undertaken by a French biomedical firms with L'Alliance Francaise~~ I speak French fluently, but they don't respond to me either......
My work with Rosetta began in 2003, under the auspices of Uncle Sam and the fine folks in Britain~~ United Devices subsequently turned these projects over to Berkeley, Baker Labs, "boinc," et al., and my network now has a bad case of gastrointeriritis.

What I can say is that my 2006 machine which operates at a fraction of the capacity of today's iMac is still putt-putting away [in France old jalopies say teuff-teuff,] it's taking up alot of precious real estate space in my living room [on the floor,] we're getting about the business of sequencing the DNA of a nasty little thing I've lknown about since its ugly debut on the world stage in a French speaking country whose name everybody in the world already knows; I've translated gene therapy, adenoviral transfection vector, and biomedical patents across the language barrier for years, and your faluty software is preventing me from continuing this most important work.
If I can't get it from you, I'll get it from France-- I don't care; ca m'est egal, and pardon my lack of proper accents here, that's Apple's keyboard software, and right now I don't give a damn--- je m'en fous.....

Apple is "upgrading" their operating system once again to something called Yosemite, a name of one of this country's national parks. Alot of the script I use is written in UNIX--- I can work with this, read and write in osx Terminal, but I can't answer anything if I don't know the question. Sooner or later the Powers That Be will figure it out, but time is our worst enemy. I hate clocks, because in my world time has no meaning.
You may call me anytime 24/7 at 617-794-5782. I always answer unless the battery in my iphone is dead, in which case you'll reach me at 617-682-8826. This is a satellite link that works everywhere on the planet, including deepest undergoround, ocean trenches, or orbit== in fact, this thing could even place/receive voice calls and texts on the Moon, assuming anybody was looking for its carrier wave signal there. Mars? No....
I'm bottlenecked right now with a 2006 server running classified software, and in order to move forward, I have to get SAME... to run on my new server....
