Just had to do a big power cycle/reboot, and coming up I got some notices that there is a new GR client. Version 6 or so. But, I can't find it anywhere. And the Windows Desktop client does not seem to have a check for updates anywhere.
So, is there a new update? If so, can we safely update or overinstall, or do I have to make the client computer rejoin the whole effort?

The current versions are 6.8.23 for Windows and 6.8.23 for Macintosh.
You can get a new installer by clicking "computers" in the menubar (if you are logged in), and then click the "add" tab. (of click here.)
If you run the installer it should properly replace your previous version.
(I think you are right, we should give some thought as to how to make it more obvious that this is how one gets an upgrade, if wanted.)
