Uncertain whether things are working

Uncertain whether things are working

I set up a Grid Republic account, and installed the BOINC client for 64-bit Linux on 4 systems that I run.  Based on the logs from run_client, it seems to be doing work.  I can see files being retrieved, watch the systems churn for several hours, then see files uploaded in the logs.  I can watch the load on my 2 CPU systems running pretty steadily near 2.0, so I know they're busy and I have no other workload right now.

However, when I log into gridrepublic.org I do not see any of my computers listed, nor do I see any credit for the work that they've completed.

At the moment I've only associated my account with the World Community Grid project, if that makes a difference.

I'd like help verifying that the work my computers are doing is actually being registered somewhere.  I thought the log files would be sufficient, but something is not syncing up because I see no computers associated with my account on the web site.  I'd like to be able to view the statistics over time on how much work these systems are doing.

Thanks, Steve

Not long after I posted this, I started the manager on each of my machines and used the "synchronize" option.  That seemed to get things going in the right direction.  Everything immediately updated, and has since updated again automatically as more work has run.  So hopefully things are going well now.  I'll update this post if it stalls out again.

It looks like things have been going well since then.  I'm up to nearly 3000 points worth of work reported back on the site, and all 4 of my systems are showing progress.
