GridRepublic Needs You!

If you're a developer, designer, or technical writer, we need your help. We're also in need of expert users for testing and for advanced support in the Help forums.

Bug Reports and Feature Requests

Please post any bug reports, or suggest useful new features here.

Help Us Test

As we develop new features, we need users to help us work out the bugs. If you're organized, patient, and interested, email us at developers{} . Currently, we seek testers for the following:

GridRepublic is built using BOINC. We are constantly in need of people with strong skills in PHP, SQL, and in particular with XML RPCs. Familiarity with BOINC is useful but not always necessary.

Other specific areas where we have ongoing need for help are: Flash, Joomla/Mambo, MediaWiki, SMF Forums, Facebook and OpenSocial APIs.

If interested, please email us at developers{}

We are constantly in need of skilled designers to develop new user interfaces and collateral materials. If interested, please email us at developers{}

Science Writers/Journalists

We are looking for talented writers who can write and/or revise the short descriptions of the projects and help to explain what each project does and explain the science in more detail. For a description of what we are looking for see here. The project explanations will be posted here. If interested, please email us at developers[]

Technical Writers

We seek help both with user documentation and with code documentation. If interested, please email us at developers{}

Open Source

BOINC and the APIs which are the basis of GridRepublic are open source and part of the BOINC source code. (The GridRepublic identity and website code are not at present open source, but we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; this is a philanthropic endeavor, not a commercial enterprise.)
